Today I am sharing my conversation with my friend and client Amanda Walker.
Amanda is a nutrition and lifestyle coach who helps people transform their relationship with food and gain confidence, self-respect and food awareness along the way. Fusing her love of food, science, and the art of coaching she helps clients shift their nutritional mindset to become mindfully aware of how they fuel their body.
Amanda believes nutrition isn’t one size fits all and is on a mission to help others find balance in life and food all while achieving their goals. She works with a wide variety of clients, from those who want to lose weight to high performance athletes who are looking to hone in their diet to bring in better results in their sport.
Some of the takeaways from this conversation:
- The value and importance of every phase of your nutritional journey.
- Amanda’s funnel analogy of the 3 phases of weight loss – from getting started to maintaining your weight.
- How to stay “on the wagon” with your food choices.
Amanda and I also discuss how she found the confidence to move forward with her business when there is already a sea of other health coaches out there — allowing herself to embrace her unique gifts and focus on how to bring those gifts to more people.
