While living in Kona, Hawaii last fall I had the good fortune to meet a fabulous yoga teacher named Alyssa who teaches classes oceanside in old town Kona. We’ve stayed in touch through Facebook and one day I noticed a brilliant post by her friend, Michael Kramer and the minute I read it I knew I wanted to interview him for this podcast.
What’s even more amazing is that Michael is living his dream (in Hawaii!) as a financial advisor focused on sustainable investing which fits perfectly with the kinds of topics I like to share with you.
Michael is a financial advisor with Natural Investments, LLC and recently co-wrote a book titled, The Resilient Investor. I knew you would find Michael’s story about how he came into ‘natural’ investing inspiring. Speaking from his home office in Hawaii (with birds chirping and crowing in the background!!), Michael shares a framework that guides us on how to become a more conscious investor. If you’ve wanted to learn more about investing sustainably and in accordance with your values, I know you’re going to walk away from our conversation with many ideas for how to get started right away!
